Poor Quality

The picture looks great, but when you get the item in the mail it looks like someone threw some fabric together. I could have done better myself! Not worth the $15.00!

Five complements the first day!

When I first got my order, I was a little nervous about the skirt’s quality (some skirts of these styles can tend to be poorly made, one-time-use-only wear), but I’ve found that I underestimated it. The thin material makes it perfect for cool spring or summer weather, and it has a knee-length layer underneath that helps it hang smoothly, so I didn’t have to worry about obnoxious pantylines, or it being so loose that it would droop at the end of the day. The threaded embroidery didn’t have any loose threads at the end of a few wearings. The one thing I had to watch out for was that underlayer, because until I got used to it, it bunched up in back a few times, leaving a very unflattering bum-bulge. (But then again, that’s what restroom mirrors are for. ) Did I mention that I love this skirt?

Edited to add: I bought this when it was less than $20. I certainly wouldn’t pay more than that for this skirt!

Very vintage! A classically styled button front shirt dress is styled with an allover floral motif, 2 covered buttons on the short sleeve cuff and a self-tie belt for a fitted silhouette. The vintage-look floral fabric is ultra-feminine. 50% viscose / 50% elastane. Hand washing recommended. Measures approximately 36″ from the shoulder seam to the hem.

A waste of a dress at any price

Well, I thought it looked cute in the picture, and though I was a little nervous about the arms fitting me because of the other reviews, I thought, at $8.00, it was worth a try. And things were looking good- it only took a day to reach me!

But from opening up the box, this became a disaster of a dress. The material is excessively cheap. It feels like a burlap sack against your body. Additionally, it is incredibly poorly constructed. When I got mine, one of the belt loops was broken, a button was missing (there are no extra buttons), and as soon as I tried it on, another button top popped off (The buttons are black, with snap-pattern tops.) Of course, my expectations weren’t high, and I guess I can always send it back. But the price of the dress and the cost of shipping make that unreasonable. I’ll just suck it up this time. But I will certainly avoid anything made by “ayc” and “Joshua Faulk” in future.

Other comments: Size? What you would expect. I ordered a Medium, and it fit everywhere including my arms. The length was a little shorter than I anticipated, as I’m generally a pretty short girl (5′4″), and dresses that are knee-length on the models are much longer on me. But this one was, if anything, shorter than it appeared on the model by an inch or two.

So thumbs down on this one. Good thing I also ordered the Merona black dress with elbow-length sleeves at the same time. A miracle dress for a comparable price.
